Arnold Fox

Blood Tribe Social Development
Arnold Fox was born and raised on the Blood Indian Reserve, a Blackfoot speaking First Nation also known as Kainai, located in south Alberta. He completed his high school at St. Mary’s Indian Residential School (Blood Reserve) and at Catholic Central High (Lethbridge). He is a graduate of the University of Calgary BSW program. Arnold began his social work career in the area of income assistance. In that role he participated in the establishment of the Blood Tribe Department of Health and Kainai Childrens Services. After completing several years of work with the Government of Alberta and Kwumut Lelum Child and Family Services on Vancouver Island he returned to the Blood Reserve. For the last few years Arnold has served as the Director of Blood Tribe Social Development. It was in that role that Arnold became involved in the provision of services for disabled members of the Blood Tribe. Over the last few years he has served as a member of the Working Group established for that purpose. 
Arnold is a member of a large extended family and is involved in raising and caring for three beautiful grand-daughters
